The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me down to lie.
Through pastures green He leadeth me the silent waters by.
With bright knives He releaseth my soul.
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places.
He converteth me to lamb cutlets
For lo, He hath great power, and great hunger.
When cometh the day we lowly ones.
Through quiet reflection, and great dedication.
Master the art of karate.
Lo, we shall rise up.
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water.
Hello again, John again.
Greetings from the dead.
My professional name is Johnny Rotten.
Please allow me to introduce myself.
I'm a man of wealth and taste.
I've been around for a long, long year.
Stole many a man's soul and faith.
Live for today, gone tomorrow that's me hahahaha!
Without feelings, without humanity, without modesty.
Not even close.
Look at what this family has become.
Spare me the waterworks.
Let me tell you something, okay? Where I'm from, having a dream doesn't make you smart. Knowing it won't come true? That does.
(I miss you, I miss you)
Mother will she break my heart?
I don't wanna talk about wars between nations.
I hope I die before I get old.
Deep in my dreams and I Still hear her callin' "If you're alone, I'll come home."
Is it just a waste of time?
I've already watched you grieve, it lasted a full 24 hours remember?
Don't let the door hit ya, where the good lord split ya, honey hahahaha!
I mean good manners don't cost nothing do they?
If I could see my fiends, all my friends tonight.
You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.
'Till I was in hell, now I would very much like to be back on earth.
I happen to like earth just the way it is.
Pity about your brother.
Not even close.
I need a dirty woman.
Keep with me forward all throught the night, until it ends, there is no end.
Everybody livin' now fuck, suck, cries, and dies.
Quite contrary.
As you wish, darling.
It's lonely on the other side.
Well that's the other problem with people today... They've lost faith. And in that loss... They no longer know who they should fear.
But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the idolaters and all liars, their fates will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
Not even close.
It's in our nature to destroy ourselves, it's in our nature to kill ourselves, it's in our nature to kill each other, it's in our nature to kill.
It seems I wasn't such... a worthless human, after all.
Don't corner me.
The ability to laugh at weakness.
Had fingers in my eyes, had needles in my veins. A knife right through my heart, I am a Victory.
Some girls just can't resist my good looks, my style and my charm.
I got troubles but, not today, 'cause they're gonna wash away, the endless river's gonna take them away.
There is no Dark Side of The Moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark.
A pig in a cage on antibiotics.
That was pretty avant-garde, wasn't it?
To remember, and to let go.
Like Stonehenge, The Great Pyramids or Michelangelo’s David, the music of Pink Floyd and David Bowie will survive them in music culture and music history, forever and ever.
Thanks...
¡Adios amigos!
★Happy Birthday David Bowie (David Robert Jones) 1947 January 8th -∞★
‘’There is an incredible
naivety
in terms of how we want our entertainers, especially in rock music to be . I think the expectations always are ‘’performer is supposed to be real, telling his life story and having this kind of integrity to a style’’. And I don’t have any of those things, you see. I don’t have integrity to a musical style of music, I do what I like. And I’m not particularly trying to be my real self on stage. And I think that just irritates people (laughs). Fortunately. It’s one of the best things that I can do. I can really irritate people. I’m not out there to be a real person. That’s not what I do. I present an interesting alternative idea of what you can do with rock. It’s simple as that, really’’.
Happy birthday to David Bowie, our Starman, our Gobling King, our Ziggy who played guitar. Here’s to you, Bowie. We miss you lots and your legacy lives on every day.
“There’s a starman,
Waiting in the sky.
He’d like to come and meet us,
But he thinks he’d blow our minds!”

Today we’d celebrate his 72nd birthday, so we commemorate him with this post; certainly not the best one, but made with lots of love. ❤
Very thankful for David Bowie, his creativity, and his contribution to the world. We love you, David!
This post is a result of a team work I made with @starman-inthesky, so thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with her in such meaningful project. 💖
